EU Brokers Iran Nuclear Deal (2 April 2015) : “Good news” tweeted EU High Representative Federica Mogherini at the end of marathon talks in Lausanne, Switzerland. Iran, EU, China, Russia, and the US “reached solutions on key parameters” that would resolve the major disputes of Iran’s nuclear program. EU and US imposed financial and economic sanctions would be lifted on a quid-pro-quo basis.
